CLASSICAL FENG SHUI
FOUNDATIONS
Classical Feng Shui is the art and science of analysing the Qi (vital energy) in a specific location and time, to create a harmonious and balanced environment. It can help to promote physical health, emotional well-being and prosperity for each of the occupants. Feng Shui analyses the impact of a place on a person through the space, time and orientation of the building.
Translating as the words wind and water, Feng and Shui are the two natural flowing forces carrying vital energy (Qi) to the environment. However each of the five elements; fire, earth, metal, water and wood, all present their own characteristics, interacting with one another and influencing different aspects of people’s lives.
In Feng Shui the interaction of the five elements is used to boost the positive Qi and correct the weak.
The Classical Feng Shui principles of time, orientation, space, layout, colours and materials, all influence the selection and placement of every component within the environment, with the final energetic map aligned for optimal flow.
